Guided introduction to the Head and Neck Radiology Programme at ECR 2011
Written by Harriet C. Thoeny, Professor of Radiology at the University Hospital of Bern, Switzerland, and Scientific Subcommittee Chairperson for Head and Neck.

Head and Neck Radiology sessions will cover commonly encountered pathologies on one side but will also provide insight into new functional imaging techniques. RC 1508 (Common pain in the head and neck) is specially recommended because it shows a novel imaging approach based on symptoms, presented by experienced and well-known speakers. Another highlight is RC 1808 (Management of the post-treatment head and neck: a diagnostic dilemma) because it deals with a very challenging topic presented by excellent speakers, well-known in the field.
